Website Design: What are the right questions to ask a prospective client?
I love designing websites , its something I ventured into in 2003 as a means to an end; which was to get money to invest books and programs so I become a better internet marketer.
.
I use the word “was” because after I designed a website for my first client, I was hooked, there was no going back. I loved the freedom, the creativity and most of all making my clients happy by giving them what they wanted and more simply by being innovative. I started getting lots of jobs and over the years I have designed over 50 websites and have these customers as loyal clients whom I service all year through and the number is growing everyday. These days I get 3 or 4 jobs to do at a time, I thank God for this.
.
Now during the course of the years, I found out that most of my prospective clients simply do not know what they want, or do not know what a website can do for them or their business and because of this, I ask them a series of questions to really understand how I could help them.
.
I came across this great article which is somewhat like what I ask my clients:

.
I hope this would help newbies in website design.
.
Pricing is another thing, I would touch on that in another article.
